A University of Manchester student has today been arrested in connection with the rape of a 19 year old girl.

The 20 year old geography student is accused of rape following a night out at Factory, where the two met.

The incident is said to have taken place at the victim’s home in the Whitworth Park area in the early hours of Friday morning.
