Loughborough soars in new rankings to be named 7th best university in the UK

Roisin LaniganLoughborough is the 7th best university in the country – coming in just behind prestigious St Andrews and Durham in 5th and 6th respectively – according to new rankings released today.
We’ve improved since last year when we came 11th, which just shows we cannot be stopped, and slowly but steadily we’ve cemented our place as a top 10 uni.
The Complete University Guide rankings also rated us highly for student satisfaction, with 4.26 out of a possible five points. Our honours prospects were also good, with 81.7 per cent of us graduating with a 2.2 or above.
Accounting and Finance was rated our best subject, with Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering and Art & Design coming second and third respectively.
