Student begins crowdfunding to help Liverpool legend get stolen belongings returned

Someone stole his belongings on a train

A student has begun crowdfunding to help out a local Liverpool legend.

Bethany was on the 7:40 train to Ormskirk and saw local legend ‘Quicksilver’ walking up and down the train.

She soon learnt that someone had offered to help him on the train but have actually stolen his cables and the money he had made that day. We tried walking up and down the train to find who had stolen the money but found nothing.

She told us, “I was sitting on the train and Quicksilver was walking up and down the train asking for help as someone had taken his money and cables. My boyfriend and I walked up and down the train with him and tried to find it but unfortunately the man who stolen it had already left the train.

“As we sat down with him we offered to put a post on Facebook to try and find who had taken the money and his cables. He was so sweet that he even offered to give us half of the money he earned to us. We won’t take it, but would love if he could get his money and more returned.”
