Marisa LeeLiverpool’s pride and joy Delta taxis has finally entered the 21st Century and now offers card and PayPal payments.
Adverts say that hundreds of drivers now offer chip and pin in-vehicle, and they can also accept contactless, Apple Pay and PayPal.
The change (no pun intended) comes after Uber hit Liverpool nearly a year ago.
But of course, all good things come at a price. The card charge will add 2.75 per cent to your fare, and PayPal 3.4 per cent AND an extra 20p. Which is more important to your night – convenience, or a chicken nugget takeaway?
