Vote now: The best dressed on campus

This weeks top ten fashionistas

Sadly, freshers’ week fun is over and the serious stuff starts to begin, sort of. In the week of pointless introductory lectures,  here who’s already making a first-class impression.

Rich, Music, third Year

Not just our first candidate for this weeks’ battle of the best-dressed, Rich resembles more Battle of the Bands. Looking rock star in black skinnies, leather jacket, cross-chain necklace, essential black shades and that hair. Surely lugging around an actual guitar is a little excessive though, Rich?

Grace, Law and Criminology, Fresher

Not a lot of people can pull off full-length dungarees, but the lovely Grace effortlessly channels vintage vibes in these slim-leg denim Topshop beauties, teaming with a plain white tee, Adidas sports bag and black trainers.

Jamie, Business Economics, third Year

And he really does mean business with his Armani travel-bag. Jamie keeps it simple with a striped-T, grey skinnies, white trainers and Farah vintage shirt. After all, why be overstated when you have a smoulder like that.

Emily, Criminology, second Year
Emily kills it with her mix of girly and sporty pieces; teaming white Nike air force 1’s with a bomber jacket, floaty grey dress, waist-belt and killa red lippy. And it would have been criminal not to include her to-die-for Topshop statement necklace (soz, enough puns for one day).

Alice, Economics, third Year

70’s inspired pieces are, like Hansel, “so-hot-right-now” and this retro mustard number in it’s luxe soft touch suede is ticking all of our boxes! This Missguided cropped sleeve biker jacket gives Alice an effortless bohemian edge to her understated outfit.
XiaoXhe Hhang, Marketing
We’re loving XiaoXhe’s layering of the denim sleeveless longline blazer over her ultra-chic over-sized cream knit – but it’s the accessories that make this look so luxe. She injects colour into the outfit with snake-print plimsolls and gorgeous blood orange Furla bag.

Ben, Bio-Medical Science, Fresher

Bargain-hunter Ben picked up this vintage jumper for just £3 at Oxfam, thrifty and stylish. In eye-catching bright red, you wouldn’t lose him in the Harold-Cohen in a hurry.

Ada, International Business, Fresher

Ada, sporting head-to-toe Topshop, gives her preppy boucle lace hem pelmet skirt a rebellious edge, teaming it with a shirt jacket in this season Khaki.

Zac, Law, Fresher

Zac could be the poster boy for university outfitters in this preppy ensemble; checkered Timberland shirt, chino jeans and boat shoes – all he’s missing is the quilted gilet.

Katie, Comms, Media and English

Going all out in Urban Outfitters, our very own Tab writer Katie takes the luxe fabric trend to new levels. She layers this season’s dark orange cord button shift dress over her velvet split front top, with the cheeky loop hole detail working wonderfully with the low scoop neck on the dress. 10/10
