Tim Westwood to return to Leicester for ‘students & ladies free’ gig

He’s about to get mad deep up in the club

Tim Westwood is returning to Leicester with an event where non-student men are being made to pay entry.

Ex-Radio 1 DJ Westwood is set to make a return to Leicester for his “Wavy Affair” tour.

Although free for students “all nite”, the 58-year-old put his foot down with non-students who have to pay £10 entry – but only if they’re male.

The event is taking place this Friday at Streetlife, a change of venue from his previous set in the O2 Academy in 2013, which was not remembered for his musical skillz, or lack of.

During the gig, Westwood made explicit remarks to a crowd of freshers – many of whom were young enough to be his grandchildren.

The following controversy caused a backlash and led to the the cancellation of his scheduled gig in Exeter.

If you want to find out for yourself then get down Streetlife on Dryden Street from 10pm, for “the night everyone is talking about”.

Tim Westwood and his agency have been contacted for comment.
