A Leeds’ Dental Lecturer has been charged for ‘engaging in sexual activity in his office’

They said it’s happened on more than one occasion

A Senior Lecturer from Leeds’ Dental School has been asked to come to a hearing for allegedly having “sexual activity” in his office.

According to a public document released by the General Dental Council, Dr Alec High has been summoned for an inquiry by the Practice Committee of the General Dental Council on the 23rd of January.

It is stated in the document that Dr High’s “fitness to practice is impaired by reason of misconduct” because while “employed as a senior lecturer at the School of Dentistry” “on one or more occasions between 1st January 2013 and 11th March 2015″ he “engaged in sexual activity’ in his office.”

His conduct was declared “inappropriate, misleading, unprofessional and dishonest.”

When questioned about this misconduct Dr High “provided a false account” as to his whereabouts during the university’s investigation.
