Mad second year dyes her hair the colours of the German flag

When asked about it, she said ‘I just fucking love flags’

How much would you pay to see your housemate fuck up their hair?

In a great attempt to raise money for her bike ride to Berlin this June, one student has raised the (wunder)bar enormously and dyed her hair the colour of the German flag.

Neuroscientist Ashleigh Goodenough signed up for the 600-mile Bike to Berlin RAG event in aim of raising £400 for Mind charity.

Ashleigh opened up the fundraiser to friends and family to vote for a colour coordination, putting the fate of her locks in their hands – thus “The Deutschlad” was created, combining the black, red and yellow of the German flag.

As expected, The Deutschlad rode miles ahead to victory.

Speaking to The Tab, Ashleigh said: “This way I get to combine my two favourite things: flags and Germany.”

“I just fucking love flags.”

Soon this look will be all over Vogue, so look out for Ashleigh on campus while it’s still small – she’ll surely welcome any donations you have for such a great  (and crazily brave) cause.

Or if you think this was worth the money (and let’s be honest, it really is) you can still help Ashleigh reach her goal of £400 by donating here.
