King’s ranked in the top 30 for UK universities

Who’s ready for another university league table?

In news interesting enough to distract your mum briefly while she asks you for a chronological run down of your freshers week, King’s has climbed two places in The Sunday Times Good University rankings from 29th to 27th!

The results are based on nine criteria including Teaching Quality, Student Experience, Research Quality and Entry Standards.

To the surprise of nobody first and second position remain held firmly by Cambridge and Oxford respectively, with Oxford dropping to second after having shared top position with Cambridge last year.

The leap from KCL (or rather, lacklustre jump) from 29th place to 27th comes alongside the devastating news that we lost to LSE (3rd), Imperial (4th) and UCL (10th), the bastards.

It’s okay, though, we can wipe away our tears with our Varsity trophy.
