A second year’s car was stolen while she was on a night out

It was taken from the Finnieston area

A Glasgow School of Art student’s car was stolen when her flat was broken into on Saturday night.

Second-year Olivia Taylor was hosting her birthday party in the flat and returned from the night out to discover that three rooms had been broken into and valuables had been taken, along with Olivia’s black Volkswagen Polo.

Police and forensics have been investigating the incident.

Shaken Olivia told The Tab: “It was my birthday party so ruined the whole thing. Some of my flatmates are now too scared to stay in the flat and I’ve barely slept because I can’t stop worrying.

“Not only have our belongings been taken but a random person has been roaming about our flat, in our personal things which is just sickening.”

So far Olivia’s car has not been found. It is a three door hatchback, with registration number X19 OTT or SR60 GZE.

If anyone has any information about the incident they are urged to contact the police on 101.
