This week’s YikYak: What’s trending

‘Procrastibaking’, library wars and exam delirium

After another week of ranting and raving, it seems students have entered into a new phase  of revision: the hysteria phase.

More than ever, YikYak has been fuelled by venting librarygoers.

Cries are also highly contagious around this time of year

Passive aggressiveness pervades the library as panicking students partake in the ultimate contention: the battle for the booths.

Circling predators constantly threaten your territory

Some have begun to resort to foul play, leaving their belongings at prime library locations.

Needless to say, the rest of us aren’t pleased…

#neverok

Any gallant attempts to claim ‘saved’ seats were thwarted by the library campers.

All actions, no matter how heroic, have consequences

And assignments were flooding back, bringing in tides of disappointed students who could have done with a few more all nighters last term.

However many final year students were celebrating the conquering of the dissertation, the Everest of essays.

The ‘rock pose’ photos flooded social media- and of course it was definitely a valid Yakpportunity.

Never a shortage of wit

YikYak often resembles the collective student stream of consciousness. It is therefore no surprise that food was once again a trending topic.

Who else procrastibakes?
