The boy, with blue shirt and chinos pulled down past his rear, held on to the girl who can be seen to fumble around.
The identity of the pair is unknown, but several have tried to out them on Yik Yak and Facebook since the video appeared in the early hours of Thursday morning. The video is easily found online but we have decided not to post it.
Some unfair Yik Yak commenters called her a slut and praised the boy for his efforts. It’s not the first time Exeter has blown up over a video of a couple on a night out.
The Safer Sex Ball was famously cancelled in 2013 after CCTV footage – known as Blowmeo and Juliet – was filmed and sent round WhatsApp. The charity event was banned until it’s return last year by an outside company, and it’s no longer run by the SU.
