The website making student life easier

Edinburgh students launch new student marketplace.

| UPDATED

Three Edinburgh students have launched a new website for students to find jobs, advertise flats and find student deals.

No pun intended, I’m sure.

Jamie Chaplin-Rogers and Fraser Padmore, who met in first year, originally came up with the idea to create a marketplace where Edinburgh students could search for essentials all in one place (alcohol price comparison not included).

Now both in second year, the pair then involved childhood friend Xan Wood, who attended Radley College with Chaplin-Rogers, to bring the site together.

Who knew that ex-Radley students needed to money-save too?

The website, which has launched this week, has pages to search for student deals, the best nightlife for each night and has loads of space to advertise. The site can also be used to sell old books or even your possessions, depending how little food you have in the cupboard. They’ll also soon be the opportunity to search for student housing through the website.

Wood told The Tab: “We wanted to create a student community that is built by students for students.” Visit it here at myuni-verse.com.

The ultimate bromance in website making.
