Durham is third best for Theology in the world
…and has a number of other subjects in the world Top 50
Sunniva CarlsenThe QS World University Rankings 2017 show that eight Durham subjects are in the Top 50 in the world, three of them being among the Top 10.
Theology & Religion is ranked as third, Archaeology as fourth, and Geography is ranked as seventh in the world.
Other subjects in the Top 50 are Anthropology, English, Law, History, and Earth Sciences. A further six are placed among the Top 100.
In the overall QS World University Rankings 2016-2017, Durham was ranked as the 74th best university in the world. That’s not too bad, but it does prove once and for all that Doxbridge is just not a thing.
The subjects are ranked based on academic and employer reputation and research citations.
