IssyDurham’s most adored attic has been voted the “best worst nightclub in the UK” by a nationwide poll.
Klute beat off fierce competition from other dingy dance floors such as Lancaster’s Sugarhouse, Sinners in Newcastle and Fifth Avenue in Manchester.
Best known for its Quaddies, considerable lack of space and ending every night with Dean Martin’s ‘That’s Amore’, Klute holds a very special place in the heart of every Durham student.
