Cardiff’s Student Union are attempting at Guinness World Record for Most Harry Potters In One Place on 11th March.

The current world record for the event is held by Tanbridge School in Horsham. In March 2015, they had 521 Harry Potters in the same place at one time.

To be counted as one of the Harry Potters, one must be wearing a black robe or cloak, a pair of glasses,  have a wand and a lightning scar.

There will also be opportunities for you to have photos by Platform 9 3/4 and as a Prisoner of Azkaban.

The event will take place from 11am Saturday morning until 2.30pm in the afternoon. The count will take place at 1pm. Those who aren’t in Harry Potter costume will be separated and will not be included in the count.

Entry fee is £5 and a free wand is included. The event is free up to the age of seventeen.
