A rare weather warning has been issued throughout the UK: thundersnow, a weird phenomenon in which the thunderstorm is snow instead of rain.

Multiple weather warnings have been issued nationwide through the uncertainty of the way the storm is travelling.

It is estimated that Wales might get 2cm on low levels.

Several reports have gone out warning the public on the thundersnow that might hit.

Not all have warned Cardiff to be careful, but some have.

The warning has said to be careful as because of the storm being full of snow rather than rain, you will only be able to hear the thunder if you are two or three miles away.

At night, because of the white consistency, it is easier to see lightening.
