Cardiff comes in top 150 universities in the world

We beat fellow Russell Groupers Liverpool, Bath and Exeter


Cardiff has come 140th in the QS World Rankings of universities, published today.

Fellow Russell Group universities Liverpool, Bath, and Exeter came 157th, 159th and 164th respectively. British universities overall performed extremely well in the rankings, with five universities in the Top 20 alone. Cambridge, in fourth, came top of the UK universities while America’s MIT came top overall.

Cardiff scored extremely highly in levels of attractiveness to international students, with 92.7 points out of 100.

Despite this success there was an overall decline for Cardiff from its ranking last year of 122nd, representing a fall of 18 places.
