Christopher Steele, the former MI6 spy responsible for the controversial ‘fake’ Trump dossier, is a Cambridge alumnus and was President of The Cambridge Union during his time here.

A dossier containing outlandish information about Donald Trump allegedly engaging in sexual perversions with Russian prostitutes was revealed to be authored by Steele yesterday.

Trump was outraged by such allegations

In 1986, Steele was President of The Cambridge Union in Easter Term. In a book ‘Arena of Ambitions’ on the history of The Cambridge Union, it was said that Steele was a ‘confirmed socialist’.
