A double decker gin bus is coming to Bristol

This summer Foozie will be bringing a brigade of booze buses to Bristol. The local events business has announced that following the success of last year, the sushi bus will return to serve a five course meal, along with double deckers serving gin and prosecco.

The Sushi Bus will run on Saturday 6th May, with the ‘6 O’clock Gin Bus’ coming on 3rd June and the ‘Bubble Decker’ Prosecco Bus visiting on the 1st July. Tickets will go on sale to Club Foozie members on Friday 31st March and to the general public on Tuesday 4th April on their website.

Reacting to this joyous news, in a statement Bristol Universtity Gin Soc commented: “A double decker bus really does do justice to the brilliance of gin; while other spirits make do with single deckers and lesser forms of transport this fantastic gin enterprise is testimony to gin’s growing popularity, especially amongst Bristol students. ”

Founder Sam Unsworth added that the bus: “Sounds fantastic. Clearly shows that the growing trend of new gin related ideas like the Ginstitute in London (Gin hotel) and Dutch, the new gin bar in Bristol, is going strong in 2017. Make use of it while we are all here before the summer!”
