Complete University Guide places Bristol in top 25 in the country

One place higher than Manchester

The Complete University Guide Rankings 2017 were released today and ranked Bristol in a respectable 24th place.

Despite falling 9 places from rank 15 last year due to a low student satisfaction score of 3.96, Bristol still ranked higher than such prestigious universities as Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow.

The top spot was taken by Cambridge with Oxford and LSE taking 2nd and 3rd place.

UOB’s highest scoring category was research quality which won us an impressive 11th place.

Unfortunately, while the Graduate Prospects and Entry Requirement categories were both in middling places on the overall table, our student satisfaction score was near the very bottom.

This data follows the trend set by previous university tables where Bristol is consistently seen as a prestigious educational institution with an excellent set of annual research results and pool of students that are let down by low satisfaction with University faculty and administration.

At least UWE came 67th.
