Bristol SU is the fastest improving Students’ Union in the country

And they’re not afraid to show it

The University of Bristol’s SU has achieved a 14% rise in student satisfaction from the previous year in the National Student Survey. This is the biggest increase of any University SU in the country.

These impressive results have come after the SU refurbished its image, opened a new SU bar, and introduced new student aid strategies in recent years.

Amongst the most notable SU achievements this year are:

Record voting levels in its elections, negotiating reforms to the Extenuating Circumstances process, and negotiating a two grade drop in entry requirements for students from low-performing schools.

Jamie Cross, Union Affairs Officer at the SU said:

‘The whole team at the Students’ Union work really hard every year to give students the best experience possible while at Bristol. It’s great that students are increasingly recognising the role we play. Every year we look to do better, and that doesn’t stop here!’
