Spotify are throwing a secret party and you could be going

2016’s up-and-coming artists will be there

Spotify are throwing what is promised to be the biggest party of the year.

There’s a catch though – Spotify have all of the details on lockdown, so we can’t tell you anything about it.

All we know is that they’re planning on taking only 250 students to a secret location on 8th June for a night of musical discovery and partying.

The lucky winners of the competition will win free travel, a night in a hotel, free food, an open bar and an incredible lineup of breaking artists.

This is Spotify’s third Secret Social and it is billed to be the biggest of the lot.

In 2014, the Secret Social was headlined by Gorgon City, Second City and Hannah Wants.

Last year the night went even bigger, hosted in an abandoned aircraft hanger, artists like DJ Fresh, Big Narstie, Jungle, B. Traits and Tom James all played throughout the night.

Details of the party are so unknown, Spotify’s brand ambassadors don’t even know the plan.

Sam Milchem, a third year at UEA and a Spotify brand ambassador, said: “Secret Social was the highlight of last summer, a showcase of the hottest artists of the year, in the most amazing venue – an aircraft hanger.

“I can’t wait to see how this year is going to be bigger and even better than last year and what crazy venue they’ve gone for.”

If you win a ticket, there is also a spare for a friend so you don’t have to travel across the country on your own.

To win all you have to do is hashtag the name of your uni in Spotify’s Facebook post.
