Police call for witnesses after a man was stabbed multiple times

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 32 year old was stabbed in Cannon Hill Park .

The victim was taken straight to hospital but thankfully his injuries were reported to be “non-life threatening”.

The incident was reported on Thursday afternoon, and emergency services rushed to the Queen’s Ride entrance of the park at 4.55 pm.

A spokesman from West Midlands Police said:

“Police were called to Queen’s Ride in Cannon Hill Park at 4.55pm after a 32-year-old man was found with a number of stab wounds.

“He was taken to hospital and his injuries are non-life changing and non life-threatening.

“An investigation is underway but no arrests have been made at this time. We would be keen to talk to anyone who witnessed the attack who have not already spoken to police to please come forward.”
