The attack took place at Direct Source 3, a fast food, retail and catering business in Digbeth on Rea Street, near the junction with MacDonald Street.

Mr Javeed is believed to be a company director at Direct Source 3 and other staff are also believed to have been on the premises at the time.

Police believe two men were involved and are appealing for witnesses.

They are hoping witnesses will come forward as the attack occurred at a busy time when many people would have been leaving work.
