Aberdeen students vote SU fourth worst in the UK

HOW much are we paying those sabbs?

Students at Aberdeen are the fourth least satisfied with their SU according to the National Student Survey.

Only 48 per cent of students voted that they were happy with the services provided by the students’ union. The average was 70 per cent satisfaction, indicating that Aberdeen’s SU is not meeting the needs of students.

Taking the top spot is Sheffield with 96 per cent while Oxford students were the least satisfied, with only 34 per cent of people claimed to be content with their students’ union.

Leeds came second with 92 per cent approving of their SU, followed by Loughborough in third with 90 per cent.

Other universities who scored poorly include Durham and Oxford Brookes, who were the only other two institutions with lower scores than Aberdeen.

In a round up of the scores of the other Scottish universities, 59 per cent of Edinburgh students are satisfied with their SU, Glasgow scored a 76 per cent satisfaction rating, and St Andrews scored marginally higher with 77 per cent.
