Cast of Bratz now

What has the cast of Bratz been up to, 16 years since the film was first released?

Gosh, I feel old

| UPDATED

Bratz: The Movie first premiered 16 years ago and everyone is still very much obsessed with the iconic outfits and songs to come out of the greatest early 2000s films ever. Whether you were a diehard fan of the soundtrack or simply obsessed with Bratz dolls growing up, the actual stars of the film have grown up with us and have gone onto do some pretty cool things in the TV and movie industry.

But instead of wallowing about how old you are and how much you’ve changed since the live-action Bratz film was first released, go on Spotify and start playing Bratitude and have a look at what the cast have been up to over the past 16 years. From critically acclaimed teen dramas to Netflix stars, this is everything the cast of Bratz has been up to since the film was first released:

Janel Parrish – Jade

Janel Parrish played the role of Jade in the Bratz live-action movie and she has not slowed down in the slightest when it comes to TV shows and movies. Janel is extremely well known for her role in Pretty Little Liars as Mona Vanderwaal from 2010 to 2017, and even starred in its spin-off show The Perfectionists. She also starred in all of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before films on Netflix as Lara Jean’s older sister, Margot.

In 2018, she married her partner Chris Long in quite frankly the most gorgeous ceremony ever in Hawaii. Even some of the PLL cast were there, wholesome.

Nathalia Ramos – Yasmin

Nathalia portrayed Yasmin in the live-action film and after a short break from acting she jumped straight back into it. Notably, Yasmin played the lead in Nickelodeon’s House of Anubis as Nina Martin in 2011. Since then she has been the lead in multiple horror and thriller movies including Wildflower and Gallows Hill: Verdammt in alle Ewigkeit.

In 2021, Nathalia married Derek An after 13 years of dating one another and in July 2022 she gave birth to their first child.

Logan Browning – Sasha

If there’s one thing about the Bratz cast, it’s that they did not stop acting! Logan Browning played the role of Sasha in the movie and has gone onto make a name for herself as a star on Netflix. Logan is best known for starring in the Netflix series Dear White People as Samantha White from 2017 to 2021. She also starred in the Netflix film The Perfection in 2018. Her latest role is being the voice of College Penny on The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.

Logan isn’t currently dating anyone but was once in a relationship with Tyga.

Skyler Shaye – Cloe

Skyler Shaye already had a name for herself prior to the Bratz film for her time as a child actor. Her role as Kylie in Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2, paved her way to fame, and who can forget her iconic performance as Katie Bryce in Grey’s Anatomy. Since Bratz, Skyler has starred in the J.L. Family Ranch movies as Lynn.

In 2021, she got engaged to singer Christian Lopez whom she’d been dating since 2017.

Malese Jow – Quinn

Malese played one of Meredith’s best friends, Quinn. Shortly after the Bratz film she went onto star in Big Time Rush as Lucy Stone and played Anna in The Vampire Diaries. She currently voices the role of Kate Cha in the Amazon Original animated series, Invincible. Malese is reportedly currently single.

Chelsea Kane – Meredith

The ultimate mean girl Meredith was played by Chelsea Kane. A couple of years after the Bratz film, she starred in the Disney Channel show JONAS and Disney original movie, Starstruck. After her Disney days, she was one of the leads in the sitcom Baby Daddy and played the role of Riley Perrin from 2012 to 2017. Her most recent role was voicing the role of Loy in the TV series short Archibald’s Next Big Thing and Archibald’s Next Big Thing Is Here.

Chelsea is reportedly single with her last relationship being in 2015 with her Baby Daddy co-star, Peter Porte.

Anneliese van der Pol – Avery

Avery was Merdith’s other best friend in the live-action movie. Anneliese was not new to the acting game when she starred in this film as she played the role of Chelsea Daniels on the Disney Channel show That’s So Raven from 2003 to 2007. She currently still plays the role of Chelsea in the reboot, Raven’s Home and is reportedly currently single.
